Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026. This policy explains what personal data Signalform collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who We Are
Signalform is an independent strategy, brand, digital and growth studio headquartered in Berlin, Germany. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Signalform GmbH is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. 2. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and what your browser sends us automatically.
Directly — when you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company name, the project type you select, and the message you write.
Automatically — like most sites, we use privacy-focused analytics to understand which pages are read and which links are used. This collects anonymized traffic data at city level, device type, and referring page, never your name or exact IP address.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use contact form submissions to respond to project inquiries and to keep a record of client conversations. We use analytics data in aggregate to understand which parts of the site are useful and to improve them. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to inquiries you initiate — and, once a project begins, on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining and improving this site, using tools configured to avoid collecting personal identifiers where possible.
5. Cookies
This site uses a minimal set of cookies: one to remember your cookie preference, and, if you accept them, a small number of analytics cookies that do not track you across other sites. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
We share data with a small number of processors who help us run this site and our studio, including our hosting and site infrastructure provider, our analytics provider, and our email and calendar tools. Each is bound by a data processing agreement and only accesses what it needs to perform its service. We do not sell or rent personal data to any third party.
7. Data Retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if a project follows, for the duration of our engagement plus the period required by German commercial and tax law. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and is not tied to an identifiable person after a short rolling window.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
— Access the personal data we hold about you
— Request correction of inaccurate data
— Request deletion of your data, where we have no overriding reason to keep it
— Request a portable copy of the data you provided
— Object to processing based on legitimate interest
— Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

9. Data Security
We limit access to personal data to the people at Signalform who need it to do their work, and we use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we treat your data with the care we would want for our own.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our tools or practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
